The Wilson Centre for Entrepreneurial Excellence is starting an exciting global initiative as part of the I3 Idea Challenge. This year, there will be a branch of the competition known as the 'Simple Ideas For A Better Place' Challenge (summary attached). Over the course of the second term, this challenge gives U of S students from all disciplines the opportunity to create an idea on campus to address an international social issue. The issue that we have decided on this year is plastic pollution and water contamination in Haiti. Once the winners are selected at the end of the term, they will have the opportunity to go to the country and implement their solution first hand.
Here is a description of the 2010 I3 Idea Challenge! Should you require more information on this project do not hesitate to reply to this email or contact the Wilson Centre directly @ 306.966.8675
